Just a short rant about how I haven’t really been doing much creative writing lately. It’s something I’d love to jump back into – I often think about it, or talk about it, then intend to do it, only to spend more time thinking about the process or my ideas instead of actually writing anything.
*Sigh* – the struggle of a creative mind, haha. I’ve been warned I spend too much time worldbuilding my worldbuilding.
Which is fun, you know? I enjoy coming up with systems, exploring histories, the rise and fall of kingdoms, thinking about character designs, etc. But when it comes to the actual usage of these things in a story? Procrastination station.
Sometimes I wish I could draw really, *really* well, so I could turn some of my ideas into graphic novels. Unfortunately, I can’t, and I don’t think I’ll ever have enough time to put towards crafting that particular skill. I barely have enough free time as it is!
